The mission of the Colquitt County Program for Exceptional Children (http://colquitt.k12.ga.us/pec) is to ensure that all students with disabilities have available to them a free appropriate public education that emphasizes special education and related services specifically designed to meet their unique needs and to prepare them for employment and independent living.
The Colquitt County Pre-K/Preschool Program offers services and/or classroom instruction for 3-4 year olds with identified special needs and/or significant developmental delays. To obtain a referral packet including parent questionnaire, please contact Katie Cato at 229-890-6194.
Required documents for evaluation for eligibility are as follows:
Passed vision and hearing screening within one year

Current immunization for the child’s age
Copy of birth certificate
Copy of Social Security card
Proof of Residency
